Terms
anyspot is a marketplace. Stars sell spots on their gear for one event. Sponsors bid for them. We run the auction, hold the money, check the proof and pay out. By using the site you agree to these terms. Last updated 10/17/2026.
Words
Star: the person selling spots. Sponsor: the person or company bidding. Board: a star’s page with its spots. Round: one auction tied to one event. Event: a live event with photos as proof, or a video or stream with a link as proof.
How bidding works
- Any amount above the current price takes the spot. You pay when you bid, by card, through Stripe.
- If someone outbids you, your money stays on your account. Bid again and you pay only the difference. Ask for a refund from My spots at any time and it goes back to your card minus the card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢). We do not keep any of it.
- A bid in the last minutes extends the round so nobody can snipe. If that extension pushes you out, your money stays on your account and you can refund it in full.
- When bidding closes, the highest bidder on each spot holds it. There is no undo.
- Prices are in US dollars. Your card issuer may charge a conversion fee.
What the star must do
- Show every held spot as drawn on the board: for a live event, for the whole event; for a video or stream, in every shot filmed on the set the board shows. B-roll, other locations and screen recordings don’t count against you.
- Upload proof after the event: photos for a live event, the video or VOD link for a video or stream.
- Approve or veto sponsor images before the event. A veto is a full refund to the sponsor, no fee.
- Not edit spots, prices or the event once bidding is open.
Money
- We hold all bids until the proof is checked.
- The star receives 80% of the round’s total (85% for the first ten stars, every round, for good), minus Stripe’s card fee of 2.9% + 30¢ on each winning bid. anyspot keeps 20% (15%).
- If a sponsor disputes a charge after the proof was approved, anyspot covers it, fee included, and the star’s payout is not taken back, unless the proof was faked.
- Payout goes out within 7 days of proof approval, to the account the star gives us.
- If the star does not deliver, or the proof does not match the board, we refund every sponsor in full and pay nothing.
- If the event is cancelled or moved by more than 30 days, sponsors are refunded in full.
Images
A spot is a small piece of a real person at a real event or in a real video. Sponsors own their images and grant the star and anyspot a licence to show them on the board, on the gear, in proof photos and videos, and in anyspot’s own promotion of the event. Stars own their photos and grant anyspot a licence to show them on the site and in promotion while the board exists.
- Fine: your face, your logo or brand mark, your product, your pet, your team’s crest, a short handle or URL, fan art you made, a short message.
- Format: square or nearly square, at least 600 by 600 pixels, PNG or JPG, under 4 MB. Simple shapes and big contrast read best from a distance and on camera.
- Not allowed: nudity or sexual content; hate symbols, slurs or anything that targets a group; other people’s faces, names or likeness without consent (public figures included); logos or characters you do not own; politics, religion, weapons, tobacco, gambling, adult services or crypto tokens unless the star has said yes in their board rules; text-heavy ads, QR codes, phone numbers, prices; anything illegal where the event takes place.
- The star decides. Every image is approved by the star before it goes on the board, and the star can veto anything, for any reason, before the event. A vetoed image is refunded in full, card fee included. You can upload a different image for the same spot while bidding is open.
- Fit. The star sets each spot’s size and position. Your image is scaled to fit and may be cropped to the spot’s shape, then printed, stitched or applied by the star or their team. Small differences between the board and the real thing are normal.
- Review. We check images before payout. If something slipped through that breaks these rules, we remove it, refund the sponsor, and may close the account. Not sure about an image? Email hello@anyspot.fun before you bid.
Accounts
You sign in with an email link. You are responsible for anything done from your email. Stars must be 18 or older, or have a guardian run the board. Sponsors must be 18 or older. We can close an account that breaks these terms.
Disputes
Tell us within 14 days of the event at hello@anyspot.fun. We look at the proof and the board and decide. Our decision on refunds and payouts is final.
Our limits
We are a marketplace, not a party to the deal between a star and a sponsor. We do not promise a spot will be seen by anyone, that an event will happen, or that a video will be posted. Our total liability to you is the amount you paid us for the round in question. The site is provided as is.
Changes
We can update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Rounds already open keep the terms they opened under.
