How it works

A board is a photo of you with a few spots marked on your gear. Your fans bid to put their name or logo on a spot for one event or one video. You wear it once. Here is everything that happens in between.

Who is behind this?

Nordin, who builds and runs it (nordin@anyspot.fun). Marc Lou is not involved; his HYROX race board is the example that started it, and it is shown on every preview page so you can see a finished one.

Bidding

Each spot has a starting price. You set it. A fan clicks a spot and pays any amount above the current price; that takes the spot until someone pays more. Bidding runs until the closing time you set, usually a few days before the event. A bid in the last minutes extends the close so nobody can snipe.

Payments

Fans pay by card the moment they bid, through Stripe. Nothing is paid to anyone until the event is done and checked. anyspot never sees card numbers.

Refunds

Outbid: the money stays on the fan’s account. Bid again and only the difference is charged, so the card fee is paid once, not once per bid. Want it back instead? Press Refund on My spots and it returns to the card, minus the card fee (2.9% + 30¢), which Stripe keeps. Vetoed image, cancelled event, or proof that does not match the board: every cent back, fee included.

Payouts

When bidding closes you get the winning logos as files. You put them on, do the event or film the video, and post the proof (photos for a live event, the link for a video or stream). We check that the spots are shown as drawn (for a video, in the shots filmed on that set; B-roll elsewhere is fine), then 80% of the total goes to you within 7 days, minus Stripe’s card fee (2.9% + 30¢ per winning bid). anyspot keeps 20%. The first ten stars to take their board keep 85%, every round, for good.

Brand deals

A brand that wants its product used on camera, not just a logo, can propose a paid video from the star’s board: what they sell and the price. The star says yes or no; a no closes the offer and nothing is charged. On a yes the brand pays, the money is held, and a private chat opens for both to agree the details and share files. Neither side sees the other’s email, and messages with emails, links or phone numbers aren’t sent. When the video is up the star submits its link, we check it, and the star gets 85% minus the card fee within 7 days. If the video doesn’t happen, the brand gets every cent back.

What you have to do

  • Approve or veto each logo before the event. Any reason is fine.
  • Wear or show the logos once, at the event or in the video, as drawn on the board.
  • Post the proof afterwards.

That is all. No posting on our behalf, no scripts, no minimums. Tell your followers the board exists and the bids go up; that part is up to you.

What you can change

Everything on your board: the photo, where the spots are, what they are called, starting prices, the event and its date, and what kinds of images you allow. Change it any time before bidding opens.

Your preview board

The link in your email opens your board as its editor. Nobody else can see it. Keep it, change it, or say the word and it is deleted the same day. Claiming it (with your own email) is what makes it yours; nothing goes public until you open a round.

An example

Marc Lou sold 10 spots on his body for one HYROX race: $112,062 in total, $4,000 to $16,000 a spot, all through Stripe. The post with the receipts is on every preview page. anyspot makes the same thing work for anyone with fans.
